Catherine L'Ecuyer holds a PhD in education and psychology from the University of Navarra, awarded summa cum laude, and is the author of the pedagogy of wonder, a proposal that the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience recognized as a new theory of learning. She is an honorary member of the Spanish chapter of the Association Montessori Internationale and holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Magdalena (Colombia). She has appeared before education committees in Spain, the Basque Country and Québec, and has advised various governments. She is the author of bestsellers such as Educar en el asombro (The Wonder Approach), translated into eight languages and distributed in 60 countries, and the founder and director of the CLE Foundation.
